How to restore IMEI on Coolpad Note 3

Disclaimer:Purpose of this article is to recover lost IMEI,please don’t use it for any illegal activities.
                   I am no way responsible if you ruin or brick your phone during this process.

First Method : NVRAM method

If you have taken nvram backup of your unrooted non-modified rom previously (Through this method) then restore IMEI through that.For restoration use this scatter file for Coolpad Note 3.

Second method: Engineering mode method (for rooted phones only)

Your mobile must be rooted for this method.

1.Enter into engineering mode by dialing *20121220#

2.Select Engineer mode (MTK)

3.Go to Connectivity Tab

4.Select CDS information

5.Select Radio Information

6.Select Phone1,type there “AT +EGMR=1,7,”IMEI_1"(you will get your IMEI number on your phone's box)

(give command exactly in same way shown above.There is space between AT and +EGMR)

7.Hit send command.

8.Now go back

8.Select “Phone2"

10.Type there “AT +EGMR=1,10,”IMEI_2"(your second IMEI number)

11.Hit send command and Restart your phone.

Third Method:Maui meta method

Note: Open Phone’s  Settings → Lockscreen & Security →Select  Unknown Sources→ok  

and

Settings → Developer options → tick on USB Debugging(In case you don’t see developer options in your settings ,Open Settings→”About phone” and tap “Build number”  7-8 times to get “You are now  Developer option”

Windows 8 and above users:Disable signature verification

1.Download Mau meta tool and install it

2.Download Android_Gadget_CDC(drivers) and install it.For installation method Go here.

3.Now run maui meta tool and select “Options”,then “Connect Smart phone into Meta mode” and check it.

4. press "Reconnect"

5.Switch off phone and connect to pc through usb cable.

6.If asks for CDC drivers then give it

7.After some time a popup window will open,close that

8. Choose IMEI download from dropdown menu,again a popup window will appear

9.Click on Change  NVRAM database files and select your database file:Coolpad Note 3 users can use this file.

10.After successful loading of database enter your IMEI for first SIM and click “Download to flash”

11.Repeat step 10 for Second SIM and enter IMEI of second SIM.

12.To write Serial Number,click on drop down menu and select “Barcode Download”

13.Click “Change NVRAM Database” and select the database file

14.Enter Serial Number of your Phone(You will get on Box cover)

15.Click on “Download to flash”.

16.Close Barcode download window.

17.Now Click on "disconnect",Switch on and check your IMEI and Serial Number.
