Game Stuff is something I might do once every week. What it is, is I'll post a theory on popular Video Games, maybe ones I hate (Looking at you, CoD).
So for the first one, I'm actually going to do two theories about Super Mario:
---
1. Mario is actually kidnapping Peach
I don't actually think this is true, but, the theory goes:
In Super Mario Sunshine, Bowser Jr. (or Baby Bowser) calls Princess Peach his mother and Mario the 'Bad Man Trying To Steal Her' (I don't remember exactly what he calls Mario).
This could mean Bowser is Peach's husband, and Bowser Jr. is their son.
-
I don't find this theory to be realistic, because if Mario was trying to kidnap Peach, why would Bowser put her in a cage (In the newer Mario games he does), and Peach says thank you after Mario saves her?
---
2. Luigi is actually married to Peach... and Rosalina is their daughter??? (Oh yeah, Peach is also dead)
This theory is actually more realistic. You'll see;
In Super Mario Galaxy, there is a thing called 'Rosalina's Storybook'. In this book she says that her mother is dead, and is under a tree, on a hill, by a castle. Which oddly looks like Peach's castle.
Okay, that doesn't seem too bad... Rosalina's mother is dead (Okay, that may be bad), but listen to the rest. In Mario Lore, basically Mario is married to Peach. But, is that true?
Rosalina has bright blue eyes, so does Peach, but Mario doesn't.
Rosalina and Peach have similar ear shapes and the same earrings, obviously, Mario doesn't.
And there are many more similarities between the two princesses.
So, if Mario doesn't have Bright Blue Eyes, or similar ear shapes, then who does?
Luigi.
Luigi has blue eyes (and yes, they're bright blue), and they have similar ear shapes.
If Luigi and Peach are married, and Rosalina is their child, this means Mario just saves Peach.
Also, you have to remember, in the Donkey Kong Arcade game, and in the NES manual,
Pauline is the Princess that Mario is in love with not Peach.
But wait...
Isn't Rosalina's mother dead? Yes, in fact, Rosalina's mother (A.K.A Peach) is dead.
That tree on a hill by a castle, isn't just some fiction story. It's real. In the end credits of
Super Mario Galaxy, the camera moves away from the castle, and if you look closely,
there is a single tree, on top of a hill, by a castle. Peach's castle.
So let me recap:
Luigi is married to Peach, Rosalina is Luiga and Peach's daughter, Mario is married to Pauline, Peach is dead. Wow.
-
I find this theory more believable because, there is more information to back it up, not just a line from a Video Game.
-
Which theory/game should I do next week on Game Stuff?
