Be sure to test your device after completing each step to see if the problem is fixed, then proceed to the next workaround if necessary.

Let's get started right here.

1. Make sure you have access to the Internet.

Try loading a website in your mobile phone browser and see if you can connect to the Internet. If you can't, then you need to solve this problem first. Doing so will most likely solve your problem with sending and receiving emails on your phone.

2. Verify your account status and make sure the password is correct.

Log in to your email provider's website to check your account and make sure it's active and the password is correct.

3. Ensure your email settings are correct.

Double check your email settings configuration and make sure you are using the correct incoming and outgoing server settings. In addition, email problems (sending/receiving) may also be due to the incoming or outgoing server that is not accessible from the mobile network or Wi-Fi network you are connected to.

If you're unsure, please contact your email provider for more information.

4. Delete/remove and then re-add your troubled email account.

The email account may not be properly setup or likely have some setup problems. So, try to remove and then add the account again.

Follow these steps:

a. Tap on Settings.

b. Select Mail, Contacts, Calendars.

c. Tap on the troubled email account.

d. Tap Delete Account.

e. Re-add your account.

5. Restart your iPhone.

After re-configuring your email account, restart your iPhone by pressing and holding the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider shows. Drag the slider to turn the phone completely off, and then when the phone turns off, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button again until you see the Apple logo.

Now perform a test mail and see if you can already send and receive it on your iPhone 6 Plus. If problem persists, please contact your email provider or ISP to escalate your email problem for further troubleshooting and recommendations.

Hope this helps.
